High School Credit Recovery Summer 2019

Program Dates/Times:

June 26th – July 31st (No school July 4-5 and August 1st is a makeup day)


Free breakfast will be offered from 8:30-8:40 a.m.

Free lunch will be offered from 11:45-12:15 p.m


Face-to-face classes:   8:45 a.m. -11:45 p.m.  and/or 12:20 - 3:20 p.m.

Online classes*:              9:00 am to 3:00 p.m.

 

*Students will need prior approval to sign up for online courses and arrange specific class times with the instructor. A minimum of 5 hours per week of class time is expected.  About 72 hours of work is expected per course.

Algebra I Geometry

US History, World History, Civics

Physical Science, Biology, Chemistry

English 9, 10, 11, Spanish 1, 2


Online Courses*:

Algebra I, Geometry, Health

US History, Civics, English 9, 10, 11, 12

Physical Science, Biology, Earth Science


*Other courses may be available if need arises.

Cost




Full Fee: $200, Reduced Lunch Fee: $100, Free Lunch Fee $50

$50 is due upon registration

Students may take up to 2 courses.The price is per course and is the same forface-to-face or online course. All fees are non-refundable. All students who complete a course with a passing grade will receive a $50 refund.

Transportation


  • Transportation will be provided from specific locations within Hartford.

  • Other students must secure transportation either through public transportation OR their own means.

Eligibility and Completion

  • Students should have received no lower than 50 on their end of the year grade in a course.

  • Students must be recommended by either their current teacher or their school counselor.
